TESTIMONIAL ARCHIVES

The following are previous samplings of the testimonials to the creation of the D.A.W.N. service and the efforts of Wendy Wolf on behalf of her clients. They vary from barely legible scribbled notes on notebook paper, through penned and typed letters in greeting cards and under fancy letterheads, to elaborate bordered printed and framed testimonials ceremoniously delivered to Wendy at weddings she helped create and dinners in her honor. The originals remain on file at the D.A.W.N. office, a few of them hanging on the walls. They all have one thing in common, sincere gratitude and appreciation

Hi Wendy,

Enclosed is membership fee.

Just thought you'd like to know, when I signed up with DAWN last year, I also joined two other services. Yours is the only one I'm renewing.

Dear Wendy,

I received my first letter from David. I was astounded David lives in Seattle. I grew up there. His home is near the high school from which I graduated, after which I worked for Boeing in the engineering department. David is a retired engineer. Won t be at all surprised if he also had worked for Boeing at one time. I am sure I didn t give you any of this information, so how on earth you matched us I"ll never know. I m sure David will be as amazed as I am. My reply is on it s way to him in today s mail.

I wouldn t be surprised if we even find we have mutual friends

Thank you.
Barb

Dear DAWN,

I just want you to know I am referring my single disabled friends to your service. My husband, whom I could have married TEN years earlier, had I participated in DAWN, I happened to meet waiting for a bus. DAWN did a great service for him as he made quality friends through DAWN which took "the edge off" so that he did not go into overdrive when he met a girl.

I had bypassed DAWN because I felt that they did not offer the "numbers" to be a good value. Well, let me tell you, please do not judge dating services only by "the numbers." I used dating services with "big numbers" only to be disappointed by the quality of the participants or their lack of interest in me, because they were looking for flings instead of LTR's. I was looking to meet someone whose CHARACTER I respected and who looked at my character first.

It pays to pay a little more to meet fewer people but with personal attention, than to look at over 1,000 people locally but who are shallow.

Yours truly,
Monica Perez

Dear Wendy,

Sally and I do not know if we love each other yet because a relationship like that takes a long time. But we have decided to commit ourselves to be friends for life, and we want to thank you for bringing us together.

We praise you for this and the wonderful things you do for disabled people. We want to thank you for drawing out into the light our beauty that no one else had looked quite far enough to find.

Sincerely yours,
Milo and Sally

Dear Wendy,

For keeping me in your dating club for so many years and for keep trying so hard to help me to find the lady of my dreams and for so many other reasons why, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones nothing but the best on this wonderful time of the year.

I know that for many disabled people you are their last hope to find through your wonderful club the love that every one of us need to have in our lives to be able to survive through life. That's why I wish that, not only in Christmas time, but in all the wonderful years that are coming your way, your heart will always be full of love and joy, so you can be able to continue helping all those members that are looking up to you for their last hope.

And this is a sincere wish from your friend,
Sam
