Ten Gift Ideas to Bring You Together

Copyright (c) 1996-2003 by Karl Thomas

  1. For a gift that keeps on giving all year long, an Entertainment 2004 Book gives you 50% off the "Good Life" on dining, travel, shopping, theatre, sports, and more. Buy your Entertainment Book from one of the many organizations for people with disabilities that offer them.

  2. Maybe your favorite restaurant isn't in the Entertainment Book, but I bet they sell gift certificates. A gift certificate or greeting card invitation for dinner for two to a nice restaurant is a great way to invite a romantic candidate to share a meal with you, or help a friend share a romantic meal with their love candidate.

  3. Got a friend or love interest who is temporarily confined to their home or bed, write your own gift certificate on a greeting card for two takeout meals of their choice including your delivery and company in the bargain.

  4. A gift certificate for tickets to a movie, play, concert, or sporting event is a great way to invite a romantic candidate to share an event of mutual interest. Just be sure they like the same kind of events or performing artists that you like.

  5. So you already took them to a movie, play, or concert, then buy them a DVD, videocassette, audiocassette, or music CD of the movie, play, or concert you attended together to help repeat and renew the happy event.

  6. Got a friend or sweetheart you exchange emails with? Buy them and yourself a webcam with "video mail" software so you can see each other while chatting on the Internet.

  7. Here's a gift combo to get together with someone. Give them a disposable camera together with an invitation to be your guest at a zoo or museum where they can use the camera.

  8. Like the outdoors, put together a picnic basket of non-perishables (wine is also a non- perishable) for two complete with bow and greeting card inviting them to share your company at a favorite park.

  9. When you are quite sure the relationship is ready to go to that next level, a written invitation to "bed and breakfast" at your place (Le Maison de Joe, Le Chateu de Josiphine) should specify "candlelit dinner" and "gourmet breakfast."

  10. The ultimate "gift of love" for a friend, co-worker, or relative with a disability is a D.A.W.N. Gift Certificate, a genuine effort to enrich their lives and show them how much you care.
